Is there composting at ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù?
Professor David Pryor started the ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Compost Initiative in 2017. Since his retirement in 2018, students of ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Sustain have collaborated with ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù faculty, the Headwaters Sanctuary, and local businesses to get building materials for twelve compost bins. Currently, the bins are composting organic materials from the Headwaters and Main Campus’s on-campus dining halls. For ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù students, this initiative provides a wonderful opportunity for community service hours and for you to get to know your fellow Cardinals, all while helping to make ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù a zero-waste university.
