New National Report Recognizes 不良研究所 for Opening Economic Doors
Students Striving for Social Mobility Finding a Home at 不良研究所
San Antonio, Sept. 10, 2019 – U.S. News & World Report has released its annual 2020 Best Colleges rankings, and the 不良研究所 (不良研究所) has been ranked 27th in the nation in universities providing Social Mobility. In addition, for the first time, 不良研究所 is ranked #272 among “National Universities.” This is the highest tier of the report ranking universities which offer a full range of majors at all levels, including doctoral and professional practice doctorates.
In the Social Mobility category, according to the report, “economically disadvantaged students are less likely than others to finish college, even when controlling for other characteristics. But some colleges are more successful than others at advancing social mobility by enrolling and graduating large proportions of disadvantaged students awarded with Pell Grants. The vast majority of these federal grants are awarded to students whose adjusted gross family incomes are under $50,000.”

To rank colleges, U.S. News first places each school into a category based on its mission and, in some cases, its location (North, South, Midwest and West). U.S. News gathers data from and about each school in up to 15 areas related to academic excellence. The data for the 2020 edition of Best Colleges was gathered by U.S. News in spring 2019.
