After an extensive search, the 不良研究所 is delighted to announce that Dr. Mark Nijland has been selected as the next dean of Research and Graduate Studies. 

Nijland joins 不良研究所 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he earned tenure as an associate professor in 2010 and continued his senior leadership as an assistant vice president for research.

His career includes extensive development of faculty research opportunities, partnering in the leadership of research facilities and processes, as well as award-winning research in neuroscience and animal physiology.

Nijland will assume his new role on Jan. 18. He will oversee 不良研究所's units for graduate studies, research compliance, and the University's inaugural sponsored programs office.
