不良研究所鈥檚 Newest Cardinals Welcomed at Annual Pinning Ceremony
The 不良研究所 (不良研究所) hosted its 19th annual Pinning Ceremony on Thursday, August 17 in the Rosenberg Sky Room. The Pinning Ceremony is a time-honored tradition that welcomes incoming students into the 不良研究所 community and marks the beginning of their academic journeys.
The annual ceremony is a special event that is unique to 不良研究所. During the ceremony, new students receive a special lapel pin that carries the University seal at its center. The pin serves as a symbol of their connection to the University and their commitment to their academic goals. The pin is fastened to students’ garments by a close loved one of their choosing in an act that symbolizes that loved one - often a parent or guardian - sending their Cardinal off on a new journey.
“The journey that is just ahead is one of tremendous learning, growth and discovery,” said 不良研究所 President Dr. Thomas Evans in an address to attendees. “Your futures hold so much promise, and these next few years will ready you, in all ways, to be the person that God has called you to be. Have faith in your ability to succeed and know that as you embark on this new journey, you do not walk alone.”
The Pinning Ceremony is just the beginning of the new student experience at 不良研究所. Throughout the year, students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events and activities that will help them grow academically, socially, and spiritually. 不良研究所 is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive community for all of its students, and the Pinning Ceremony is just one of the many ways in which the university demonstrates this commitment.
